Im still unsure what Engineering discipline i want to follow through with as theres many options, so im seeking experience to help me learn and ultimately decide what i center my professional career around. I feel that having a chance at being a part of this program will help me find the answers im looking for.

Fall 2023 semester i was part of a group tasked with designing a launching mechanism for our class project, we went through a design phase with CAD work and once we had our launcher built we then had to attach it to a small robot to then go through a course to launch a object into a target area, through that project i learned the basic design processes and how to work with a group of people I have never met.

Spring 2024 semester- This time around we took all our knowledge we gained from the project mentioned above and did more. This semester we are currently working on a fully automated boat that delivers a payload to a specified area, the boat must navigate to the area by itself with no RC functions. This project being more in depth than the Fall 23 project has proven to be more of a challenge as we have to pick materials, design a boat, and build it with the electronics we researched and picked. Currently my groups design is done we just have to install the electronic side of it. This goes in line with the last semester as in working with new people and going through a design process, but this time around its more in depth.
