Working at a Korean BBQ was one of the most physically demanding jobs I have worked. Not only were you always on your feet, but you were practically sprinting in a hot and smoky environment. The full houses, or rush of customers made working this job incredibly fun. I met people that work or have different hobbies that I had been meaning to pick up, so it was amazing being able to get first-hand experienced responses.
I first started as a line cook, but quickly realized that I needed the social aspect of interacting and talking with people to comfortably work. After switching to a server, I definitely feel as though talking to strangers and learning about their lives are important for personal development.
