Tornado Relief Volunteer, Petal, MS, 2017-01-21, On January 21, 2017, an EF3 tornado hit my hometown of Petal, MS. It left millions of dollars in damages and dozens of families without homes in its wake. Hundreds of citizens, including myself, were quick to help. We distributed food and water to those in need, as well as cleaned up debris.
