Process Improvement and Efficiency.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to maximize warehouse capacity utilization.
• Introduce lean practices to reduce waste and improve workflow efficiency.
• Partner with IT and operations teams to enhance WMS functionality and reporting tools.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline order fulfillment and reduce operational costs.

Client and stakeholder communication.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for 3PL clients regarding inventory status, order fulfillment, and logistics solutions.
• Provide regular reporting on inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, procurement, finance) to align warehouse operations with company goals.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure adherence to OSHA and industry safety standards within the warehouse environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimize workplace incidents.
• Maintain compliance with client-specific requirements and regulatory guidelines.

Inventory Control

• Oversee inventory accuracy for thousands of SKUs across 20 customer accounts.
• Conduct cycle counts, audits, and reconciliations to maintain 98–99% inventory accuracy.
• Implement and enforce inventory control policies to minimize shrinkage, and discrepancies.
• Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track stock movement and optimize storage strategies.

Client Account Management.

• Serve as the primary liaison for 20 customer accounts, ensuring that service expectations are met.
• Provide clients with regular reporting on inventory status, order fulfillment, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with customers to forecast demand and align inventory strategies with business needs.
• Resolve client inquiries and discrepancies with professionalism and urgency.

Process Improvement and Efficiency.

• Identify operational bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Introduce lean practices to reduce waste and streamline workflows.

• Monitor production schedules to meet customer deadlines, and optimize plant efficiency.
• Train and mentor production staff on assembly techniques, equipment use, and safety practices.
• Conduct inspections to verify accuracy, structural integrity, and compliance with building codes.

Quality Control & Safety

• Implement quality assurance procedures to minimize defects and rework.
• Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across production and shipping operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and team training sessions to reduce workplace incidents.
• Maintain documentation for compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.

Shipping and Logistics Management.

• Oversee daily shipping operations, including scheduling, routing, and load planning.
• Coordinate with drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Manage the inventory of finished trusses and raw materials to align with production and shipping needs.
• Optimize truck loading for efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
