• Humane Society

Freshman - 2 hours per week, 10 weeks per year

Whenever I would go and volunteer at the Humane Society I would help host Pet Adoption Fundraisers on the weekends and hand out flyers and sell t-shirts, pens, magnets, etc.

• Ronald McDonald House

Freshman - 12 hours per week, 0 weeks per year

During the Fall season of my Freshmen year, I made cute table decorations to set out on the table for Thanksgiving so that they could all have something to look at to brighten their day just a little bit.

• Pet Smart

Freshman - 6 hours per week, 0 weeks per year

I volunteered at Pet Smart my Freshmen year and I talked to people about all of the dogs that we had outside waiting to get potentially adopted, trying to convince them that those dogs were the perfect match as well as selling T-Shirts.

• Math/English Tutor

Junior, Senior - 2 hours per week, 25 weeks per year

Due to COVID-19, I was not able to tutor a bunch of people, but I mainly tutored my friends in English when they needed it and my brother in Math.

• Babysitting

Sophomore, Junior - 2-3 hours per week, 26 weeks per year

I would babysit my neighbor's toddler for about two years off an on during high school; mainly during the summer.

Clubs and Activities

• Chorus 1-2

Junior - 7 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

I was an alto singer in Chorus 1 and 2 and we learned how to read music as well as I gained constructive criticism  on how to improve my voice every week.

Junior Honor Society

Freshman - 1 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

The Junior Honor Society Club would meet on Thursdays for 1 hour every week during my Freshmen year to discuss community service and what we wanted to do for others at our school.

• Junior Civitans

Freshman - 1 hours per week, 39 weeks per year

In Junior Civitans, we would also meet once a week on Thursdays for an hour and discuss service opportunities and things we could do for people in need, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. During the Christmas season, we donated and collected a bunch of shoes to ship off to Operation Christmas Child but also to other places that were taking donations.
