Fleet Manager at Norwalk station; responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the station fleet working directly with Penske contracted mechanics. Collects mileage and prepares a monthly mileage report to Operations and submits a semiannual report to Division. Reports any damage to vehicles to a sworn supervisor. Assigns vehicles to each sworn unit and ensures the proper rotation and deployment of station fleet. Supervise various work performed by station inmates and work release. Order inmate laundry and station jail supplies from PDC and Twin Towers Jail Facility. Report any misconduct of trustees to sworn supervisors. Assist in maintaining the upkeep of the station and works closely with Facilities Services Bureau personnel by submitting work orders and service requests. Reports directly to Operations staff with several collateral duties that include but are not limited to daily county mail runs, interacting with division reps, receiving supplies from the procurement LET, covering for the court liaison and property and evidence custodian and working the front counter when needed. Works the complaint/911 dispatch desk whenever necessary.

When not taking calls I handled the front counter by greeting the public and assisting with complaints, reports, traffic tickets, vehicle and property releases, subpoenas, trustee visitations and copies of police reports.
