  • Grooming techniques- familiar with hair cutting, shaving, trimming for both dogs and cats, as well as doing lion cuts on cats. I can explain our products to employees and clients such as medicated shampoos, what's included with grooming and baths, and order supplies needed for the staff.
  • Software- I’m able to add added item codes to sell within the hospital, supplies, food, or medications no longer used within the hospital to make inventory and items organized within Cornerstone. Adding promotional discounts and rebates through our Greenline account. Discussing with representatives about new products, price changes, and obtaining valuable information.
  • Communication- having the knowledge and skills to work each role in the hospital gives me the opportunity to communicate with clients more effectively. I’m able to answer questions quickly and give thorough knowledgeable information about different topics.
  • Training- I can train and show employees how to navigate our Cornerstone software, providing easier navigation techniques. I can teach and show employees how to navigate our online pharmacy, document medical notes such as Idexx lab results, Radiology, prescriptions, client communications, explain and demonstrate duties for each area of the clinic.
  • Inventory- I’m able to perform quarterly inventory counts, keeping track of items needed within the hospital. I have been able to help with cost saving expenses while rotating supplies, getting credit for damaged or expired items, and checking inventory weekly to ensure no extra spending is used on fully stocked products. I can explain what items are not available and find alternative recourses. I’m able to talk with our inventory operations team for information, and to stay on top of day to day changes within our hospital.
