Throughout my time with AT&T my responsibilities were predominantly focused on my personal sales performance along with customer satisfaction. I often would host in my location, greeting customers at the door and identifying the best products and services to meet their needs. During sales interaction, I was expected to inquire about the customers existing services as well as using lifestyle questions to introduce new options for the customer to expand upon, mostly including home entertainment such as TV and internet. I frequently worked with local businesses as well in the same way, providing assistance with accounts and always working to give the best experience possible. In the instance that the customer was needing assistance beyond what the store location was capable of, I would offer to schedule an appointment for our specialized team to ensure the customer was adequately helped. I would often assist with merchandising the store for marketing resets and processing inventory. During slower business hours, I would often cold call business in the area attempting to generate leads for either myself or my dedicated business representative to follow up on. Normal opening and closing duties also applied, such as opening and closing registers, preparing deposits, and managing nightly paperwork.
