Description: Qwest Conflation project is to match the existing data(Land base and Plant data) to the updated data with respect to the Teleatlas data (GDT) and the other source like Ortrho and USGS quads. Qwest gives the input data in shape format. Data conflation will takes place in two steps. First one is conflating the Land base data so that it overlays the GDT data. For this we need most recent Ortho images.
Second step is plant conflation, as soon as the wire centre accepted in Land base it comes to Plant conflation. All the conflation of the plant data must do using the remote desktop technology only.
