Lyophilization Specialist

• Operates lyophilizers according to the product specifications, including temperature, pressure, time, etc.

• Knowledge of which lyophilizers and programmed recipes are validated for all the freeze-dried tissue forms.
• Responsible for the accurate data entry of all tissue forms, including the manual, electronic, and physical transfer of tissues from various locations.
• Measures, labels, and packages all tissue accurately and according to standard operating procedure.
• Maintain and control Lyo and tissue records per operating procedures.

QA Records Analyst

• Maintains the operational attributes and processes, confidentiality, effectiveness, efficiency, and security of the donor processing records and the records area.
• Prints and analyzes results from internal and external laboratory databases, Sceris, and QDDS systems, as required.
• Prepares charts with the appropriate paperwork and results for IFG, 1st Review, 2nd Review, and Final Review.
• Interacts with all departments to organize, review, and analyze all data pertaining to the release of tissue or medical devices for compliance with procedures, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Scanned, saved, and organized hard copy and digital documents in a computerized file library.
• Completed documents and work requests according to company standards.
• Kept documents moving in proper flow by applying strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

• Aseptically perform in situ human eye enucleations, corneal excisions, or other ocular tissue recoveries.
• Obtain and review the hospital chart prior to recovery when available.
• Make appropriate procurement determinations based on donor, medical, and body inspection information, and complete the required recovery documentation.
• Complete venipuncture sampling.
• Aseptically perform gowning and gloving.
