Package Delivery: Transport and deliver packages door to door within a specific timeframe. Including following designated routes and adhering to delivery schedule.

Loading and Unloading: Loaded and unloaded packages onto delivery vehicles for proper storage and handling.

Customer Interaction: Often communicated with customers during route. Often customers are contacted for delivery times or address concerns.

Vehicle Maintenance: It is the drivers duties to maintain the cleanliness while operating the company vehicle. Drivers are expected to report any issues while insuring safe and efficient operations.

Documentation: Completing and submitting delivery logs are essential to tracking deliveries and maintaining records.

Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety and traffic laws, while insuring safety for others.

Supervising Staff Drivers : Overseeing the drivers. Ensuring company regulations and standards are being met.

Managing Communication: Regulating communication between driver and personnel. Dispatching reports on tracking logs.

Training New Drivers: Informing and educating new drivers on the companies rules, safety regulations and driving procedures.

Investigating Accidents: Reviewing drivers CDL license, and medical card to ensure compliance.

Administrative Duties: Answering commerical calls, while placing orders for customers.

Compliance: Ensuring adherence to transportation laws, and company policies amongst all drivers.

Performance Metrics: Monitoring fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance needs and scheduling repairs.
