Summary

After graduating from BYU-Idaho I got a job with County Cache School District working at Mountain Crest High School in 2008. Once the additional high school, Ridgeline, was built in 2016, I switched over to that school where I still happily work today. I currently teach American Government, United States History, EL history courses and theatre classes. In 2005 I finished my MA in American Government, Civics and Law at UVU. Part of this course included spending two weeks studying in Oxford. I have my ESL endorsement and I am interested in getting a sociology endorsement. I am passionate about my subjects and teaching in general. I am always seeking to improve my content expertise by going to conferences, workshops, taking classes, reading excellent literature, etc. I enjoy getting students engaged in historical and political topics that too often are portrayed in a monotone way. I am a dedicated educator who believes strongly in the work I do.
