After parting ways with Walgreens, I stepped into a position at Ochsner as a technician. I work mostly on our mail out prescriptions by typing, filling, and shipping these prescriptions.

I started my pharmacy journey at Walgreens by going through the classes as a candidate. Once I got my hours and passed the board exam, I became a technician. After 3 months of being a technician, I was able to become a Senior Pharmacy Technician. I worked for 5 years as a Senior Pharmacy Technician before becoming the RXOM (Pharmacy operations manager) or known as the manager of the technicians. I parted ways with Walgreens in 2021.
