The following are some of the responsibilities and skills I used in this position.

• Dockets applications for variance and maintains case logs to show the status of variances.

• Follows up on status or reports; due dates, and other variance activities assigned to the engineering staff.

• Schedules variances hearings; reserves conference room locations; operates and tests video conference equipment.

• Prepares and serves hearing documents on all participants as needed; establishes and maintains variance files and variance database.

• Types and prepares correspondence, reports, and statistical summaries.

  • Types, edits, and formats documents prepared by the Hearing Officer, and Executive Officer such as general correspondence, technical rulemaking documents, staff reports, advisory committee minutes, legislative bill analysis, in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
  • Proofreads all materials making necessary corrections, reviewing for format and consistency with Board policy.

  • Draft, compose, type, review, edit, and distribute typed documents to other staff at the dealership, customers, Department of Motor Vehicles, and Financial Lending Companies.
  • Maintain computer records on vehicles at the dealership on a computer program named Desktop Manager. These records include, make, model, purchase cost, VIN numbers, service records, and sale costs.
  • Prepare final loan request paperwork with customers and send those documents to potential lenders for approval and funding.
  • Financial responsibilities to prepare payroll for employees, write checks to customers for car purchases, and VISA card purchase of office supplies for dealership. Using computer and arithmetic skills I keep accounting of these expenditures.
  • Check all delivery paperwork, sign for acceptance, and distribute all mail, faxes, care deliveries, and FedEx deliveries for the dealership.
  • Prepare and review accuracy for DMV title transfer paperwork, and then submit those papers to DMV. This also at times requires a follow up with DMV to check status on progress of final title transfer.
  • Use of office machines consisting of computer, copier, credit card machine, fax, and iPad.
  • Review court documents for accuracy regarding sale of a vehicle that may now be in litigation.
  • Maintain and purchase office supplies for the dealership.
  • Make appointments for service of vehicles and deliver vehicles to the service providers. Once the work is completed, pick up vehicle and pay for services by company check.
