Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I've trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for four years, starting in 2020, primarily under the no-gi 10th Planet system. I am a blue belt, the second rank in the Brazilian jiu-jitsu system. Training in this martial art has improved my life by teaching me to operate effectively under high-stress situations, practice humility, embrace comradery, improve tangibly at a difficult sport, improve my physical health, and defend myself. It's also really fun to (lovingly) beat up and get beaten up by your friends.
