Coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and currently living in Burlington, Vermont for university, Sophia Wrench has a diverse palette of experience. Sophia Wrench prioritizes leadership. As a current first-year college student, in addition to being a leader of various clubs in high school, she has also just completed a 3-year Leadership Training program at her summer camp, YMCA Camp Minikani, where she is now a summer camp counselor. She advocates for what she believes in and strives to help communities she cares deeply about. Having completed over 50 hours of service for adults with disabilities, she also peer mentored students with disabilities for three years at her high school. Among leading clubs and doing service, she maintained multiple jobs in high school, along with her current Work-Study position at her university. She was also a 2-sport athlete all 4 years of high school, and by her junior year, she was the vice president of her school's student athletic advisory council. Her current involvement at the University of Vermont emphasizes her genuine care for her passions: Political Science, Disability advocacy, and Women in Sports.
