I have moved to the Resident MSS for the MyMich Rural track resident program. This entails working closely with the four residents that rotate through our office. I room patients, vitals, immunizations, EKG’s, and assist the residents closely in any task they need.

I currently manage the AHC Ossineke clinic. I oversee four providers and eight immediate staff members on a daily basis along with other supervisors staff located in the clinic. I handle all employees schedules, patient complaints, payroll, office operations, and resolve daily issues that arise in the clinic. I also am able to jump in and assist both clinical and clerical if our clinic becomes short staffed. I work with our PCMH, NCQA, and safety committees to accomplish our organizational goals. I am trained in our Electronic medical record system, microsoft, excel, MICR and EPIC.

I transitioned back into working the MSS role due to missing the patient interaction and patient care part of the job. I am now in charge of vaccines and VFC management for Alcona Health Center Ossineke. I continue to room patients, took vitals, venipunctures, immunizations, lab test, EKG's, referrals,
refills, and more. In this position I used the Electronic
medical record system along with MICR.

As a member of the CSS team I performed switchboard duties, scheduling, medical records, and front desk. I assisted patients with insurances, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and filing in paper medical charts.

I checked in patients, billed out insurances, collected payments, and scheduled patients for follow up visits.
