I have had an avid interest in the medical field as a child and decided on cardiothoracic surgery early. Growing up, I helped my father with his home hemodialysis. For the past four years, I have administered my grandmother's diabetes medicine. Recently, I have helped my grandma to have activities that reduce the exacerbation of her dementia. I was top 5% of my high school's graduating class and held a menstrual hygiene drive called the Her Drive. I have always been a vocal advocate for sexual and mental health. While at Yale's summer program, I had a capstone project group to theorize how to cure HIV using CRISPR-Cas9 technology before it could progress into AIDS. At Harvard's summer program, I studied infectious diseases along with anatomy and physiology.
While my official title was cashier, I was given several responsibilities. At the same time of training several newcomers, I was also tasked with bartending, to-go sacking, handling the to-go door, dishwashing, and serving tables along with cashiering. This entailed customer service both in person and over the phone, packaging orders, and keeping an open line of communication with the front and back of the house.
