Talya Traub-Cooper

Riverside,RI

Summary

I am a sophomore majoring in Psychology. I started as a public health major so I have some background in overall health and wellness and health promotion. I have worked as a Public Health student ambassador, which allowed me to work and talk with students and faculty about health, and wellness. I am also a part of the health promotion group at the University of Rhode Island where we discuss important issues on campus such as mental health, sexual violence, and nutrition. I have also been interested in mental health and behavior. I wrote my extended essay for the International Baccalaureate program on how mental health differs depending on how you grow up and where you live. Overall I consider myself to be an easy and effective person to work with. I bring a lot to the table by sharing ideas and communicating with colleagues.
