i worked in the electronic department. my job focused mainly on helping customers. i would help sell items as well as help customers that were already interested in buying our products, such as Televisions, speaker systems, video games, and cell phone accessories. i also worked on freight and stocking empty shelves.

I worked the entire store. i helped with stocking shelves, completing huge truck freight, pricing items, i handled the cash register and sometimes even bank drops once i moved up to the assistant manager position. I engaged with

• Replaced used towels and other bathroom amenities such as shampoo, paper towels, and soap.
• Completed pre-cleaning duties by setting up cleaning carts with fresh linens, cleaning supplies, and requested guest supplies.
• Operated wet-vacuums, buffing machines, vacuums and upholstery cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.

• Promoted a positive shopping experience by greeting customers warmly upon entry and providing assistance as needed.
• Counted money in drawers at beginning and end of each shift.
• Utilized POS system to handle customer cash and credit card transactions.
• Processed customer orders and accurately handled payment transactions.
