Individual Molecular Dynamics Projects:

• Investigated SARS-COV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) and TAS2R38 bitter-taste receptors.
• Engaged in weekly meetings with Professor Goddard and post-doctoral researcher Soo-Kyung.
• Used Linux commands via SSH for calculations.
• Utilized MD software tools such as VMD, PyMol, and Materials Studios for molecular simulations and visualization.
• Employed Microsoft Excel for thorough data analysis and interpretation.
• Tried writing a paper on TAS2R38, but the results were insufficient.

• Calculated pKa and assisted in training a Machine Learning (ML) model predicting battery interface spectroscopy.

Worked in a P2 laboratory:

• Executed plasmid DNA transformation into E. coli, using both Calcium Chloride treatment and heat-shock method.
• Collaborated with a GSI on B-scan ultrasound imaging of 70 mice's bladders, operating imaging computer, organizing files, and scraping gel onto the camera.
• Sectioned colon tumor tissues to 10um-thin slices.
• Conducted intraperitoneal anesthesia for mice.
• Collected mice urine samples (while subjects were under anesthesia).
• Obtained mice blood samples through eye sockets (while subjects were under anesthesia).
• Thawed frozen colon cancer cells, cultured and propagated them, and subsequently transferred them to multiple Petri dishes for further applications.
• Excreted cell membranes.

Unique Experience:

• Worked in hideously foul pig room, cleaned up after incontinent pigs, and got soiled by pig waste.
• Created a unique procedure to reverse colon samples (5cm) from 20 rats using a gel-ink pen refill.

• Conducted comprehensive competitive analysis of wireless self-heating water bottles/purifiers market in China, using skills from AP Seminar.
• Cross-compared approximately 15 competitor products effectively, presenting my findings to the team.
• Contributed insights into reference designs and identified potential target markets based on analysis.
• Invited to return.
