• The Captain shall be responsible for direct supervision over Lieutenants, Sergeants and Correctional Officers. The Captain is also responsible for managing, planning, organizing and directing all security activities of the facility as directed by the Warden, AW and Chief of Security.

• The Lieutenant is responsible for the coordination and supervision of security operations during shift assignment. The Lieutenant shall provide supervision of staff assigned, maintain custody and control of the inmate/detainee population and enforce applicable rules and regulations. The Lieutenant shall prepare records and reports, and is under the supervision of the Captain and Chief of Security.

The Sergeant is responsible for the supervision, custody, care, safety and control of the inmate/detainee population. The Sergeant shall also be responsible for the direct supervision of correctional officers and assume all duties of a Lieutenant in the absence of the shift Lieutenant.

• Correctional officers are responsible for the care, custody, and control of inmates/detainees. Officer are responsible for making security checks and ensuring a clean and safe environment for all inmates/detainees.
