- I started in Lowe's as a customer service associate in the paint department.
- In paint I helped customers that come up to the desk with questions or when they needed to get paint mixed for their projects.
- When not with customers at the desk I worked through the aisles asking customers if they need assistance or if they need help finding items. If I wasn't with customers I would either run stock that had come in on the nightly trucks or down stock items from top stock to the shelf.
- After 2 years in the paint department I switched departments to Millwork in the back of the store working with special orders and in house stock.
- Millwork consisted of helping customers with special order door or windows when specialists were not available and I would down stock storm doors, entry doors, windows, interior doors, interior and exterior molding and ladders.
- After 6 months, I was promoted to Head Cashier on the front end. In that position, I managed the front end cashiers, making sure tasks were completed on time, ensuring that front end fridges and snacks were stocked, and that customers at the service desk were taken care of.
- As a Head Cashier I managed the front end team making sure associates were up to date on training and were treating all customers correctly to the policy of Lowe's .
- After 5 months of the Head Cashier position I was promoted to Department Supervisor of the paint department where I manage another team while maintaining the up keep of the department.
- As the supervisor I still make sure my team is up to date on safety training and that department standards are being met and kept up in the department.
- In the supervisor position I keep up with inventory in the department and make sure items are ordered to keep up with rising and falling demand and task my associates with tasks coming from upper management or from myself when observed within the aisles.
- As a supervisor I assist other departments when call buttons are hit by customers which has lead me to learn how to cut keys, chain, electrical wire, glass and lumber.

- I started as a janitor, keeping the store clean.
- I moved into the Dairy department after six months. In diary I would help the department head with inventory keeping, customer service, maintaining shelf stock and at the end of the night front facing the frozen and dairy aisles for the opener the next day.
- I moved to the center store after three years in the dairy department. In that position, I helped any department that needed assistance. I mainly worked through the center store aisles, which are the main bulk of dry grocery, and I would maintain stock of drinks, snacks, and perishable goods. I would assist other departments when staff was low or when volume was high, helping them move stock or helping customers in those areas. I also helped my closing manager with unloading and down packing the frozen, fresh, dairy and dry perishable trucks.
