I grew up with 3 siblings all close in age and two loving parents. I graduated from Garden Spot High School where I was involved in numerous clubs and sports. One of my favorites memories from high school was going to states in volleyball and making it to the final four. I was blessed to receive a 2 time all-state, all-district and section awards during my high school volleyball career. In college I am majoring in Health and Physical Education. I really enjoy being part of our Charger PE program (a homeschool PE program at LBC). My responsibilities include running all social media platforms and making sure the parents are always kept up to date with each session through email and leading weekly meetings.
Assisted in helping with a senior fitness for life class (lifting weights and cardio) and team sport classes. My main responsibilities was to teach mini lessons/warmups and build relationships with students. My biggest accomplishment was teaching and leading out a volleyball lesson. With the main activity being nitro-ball, a modified version of volleyball. To help all students enjoy a competitive version of volleyball.
Assisted in helping PE classes in grades 3-6 grade. I helped plan and run the end of the year field day event for students. My biggest accomplishment was teaching a weeks floor hockey unit. Taught every lesson with an attention getter, summary directive, group instruction, guided practice, independent practice (main activity), and closure.
