  • Managed and trained the front office staff, billing staff, and clinical technicians on a daily basis. Including employee hiring, termination, reviews, and continued updated training. Resolved employee and patient concerns or complaints.
  • Implemented and transitioned the practice from paper chart documentation to Electronic Health Records, and Practice Management Software.

  • First assist in all Refractive Excimer Cases including programming and acquiring all measurements with Topography, Refraction, Wave Front Imaging. Acquisition of precise centration, measurements and data entry with Phorcidies for calculations of Contoura Abblations.

Accomplishments

Assisted in negotiating and the purchasing of the first Excimer and Femto Laser to be installed in Wichita Falls. Was involved with all pharmaceutical and surgical rep meetings to help determine what products and technology would be the most beneficial to our patients. Was in charge of remodeling/construction of the clinic to house the Excimer and increase patient flow to allow for a better patient experience and productivity. Trained and certified on multiple laser platforms through out the years to include: B&L Technolas, Visx S3 & S4, Ladarvision 4000, Ladar Wave Custom Cornea, Wavelight EX500 with Contoura and Phoricides. Programmed all refractive cases and was the primary refractionist on all pre-op and post-op data collection.
