Wendell Finken

I worked 11 years at Peterson Bros. Roofing, starting as a laborer and quickly worked my way up to Management Positions, including, but not limited to: Service Foreman, Project Foreman, Project Supervisor, Project Manager, and Estimator. All management positions included Sales.

In 2002 I started at AMBE as a Site Inspector and Assistant Project Manager which included field inspection, communication with the Client and Project Manager.

In a growing company, I worked up to Senior Inspector and Project Manager in my first 3 years. I acquired my RRO and RRC certifications along the way and was eventually promoted to President in 2008.

As President, my duties included:

• Overseeing multiple Project Managers and Field Inspectors.
• Estimating, Project Design, Marketing, and Sales
• Running the daily operations and management of all employees
• Marketing at industry events such as BOMA and IREM

Building Assessment Responsibilities include, but were not limited to:

• Meeting with Clients to determine concerns and needs.
• Completing field visual assessment of the roof and building exterior
• As needed taking cores and/or destructive testing.
• Producing reports with an explanation of findings, recommendations, project budgets, producing and distributing bidding documents, assisting in the bidding process, and project delivery as needed based on the owners specific needs.

Project Design Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:

• Confirming actual existing construction and needs based on the Client needs and budget
• Producing bidding documents including a Project Manual on Master Format, and providing detailed PLans and Specification.
• Plans and specs were produced on Sketchup program.

Owner and CEO- In 2020 I purchased AMBE through an employee buyout plan and became the sole Owner.

• Duties were similar to duties as President.

Other Information:

• Managed national accounts which included extensive travel
• Have worked with local Government and State on projects
• Have completed roofing and sealant projects on several 50+ story buildings
• Have completed several projects in "high wind" and/or in hurricane zones.
• Have completed projects in varying regions including most of the 50 states.
• I have worked with all major roofing manufacturers and I am well versed in most roofing types, including but not limited to: Built Up Roofs, EPDM, TPO, PVC, KEE, PMMA, and other single and "no ply" roofing systems.
