• Review, modernize and deliver curriculum developed by U.S. Navy for certification of Fleet Diesel Engine Inspectors. Conduct four classes per year on both East and West coast at U.S. Navy installations. Maintain 100% of curriculum delivery and student testing materials to include oral evaluation upon completion of academic course of study.

• Conduct certifying inspections for electrical plant generators and main propulsion diesel engines. Provide technical oversight to customer ensuring highest quality product.

• From May 2018 to Mar 2019 I managed the day to day operations, scheduling, and hiring operations for twenty four instructors across 35 courses at three separate sites in San Diego Ca. As the instructor for the United States Navy's fleet diesel engine inspector course, oversaw all aspects of course delivery and candidate preparedness for future certification as propulsion and electrical generating plant engine inspection trouble shooting, and assessment.

• MCMRON 3 class advocate for 11 Mine Countermeasure ships and immediate superior in command for 4 forward deployed 5th fleet ships 3 third fleet state side ships. As Diesel Engine Inspector (DEI) Supervised teams in support of engineering unit level training events, plant light off assessments, plant operating certifications, and maintenance scheduling and completion. Additional duties as subject matter expert advising both Command element as well as engineering department (N43) leadership in all aspects of diesel propulsion and electrical plant generation operation and training.

• PCRON ONE class advocate for 13 Patrol Coastal (PC) Class ships and immediate superior in command (ISIC) for 10 PCs in Bahrain. Primary position diesel engine inspector conducted technical assist visits, propulsion plant assessments and all operator and emergency training of personnel related to 40 main propulsion and 20 ships service diesel generators. Conducted all propulsion and casualty inspections for 10 forward deployed ships. Simultaneously acted as Command Senior Enlisted advisor during loss of primary Command Master Chief advised Commodore on all programs involving enlisted staff and 10 forward deployed ships.

• As the DLCPO (Department Leading Chief Petty Officer) for engineering my leadership experience included management of a team of 168 military and 350 civilians. Which included all maintenance, modernization and technical support for ships, submarines, aircraft carriers and miscellaneous craft home-ported in, or transiting, the Navy Region Southwest area of Responsibility.

• As senior diesel engine inspector (DEI) I oversaw and conducted assessments and inspections and trained personnel in the operation, and repair for over 280 main propulsion and electrical plant generators through out the Southwest region extending to Panama. Supervised 17 military and 7 civilians ensured all training requirements were met.

• Divisional responsibilities included the development and supervision and training of four Chief Petty Officers, two junior officers, and 120 junior Sailors in the operation and maintenance of all assigned equipment.

• Responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of four emergency diesel generators. Led the work-center through numerous command inspections and planned incremental availability, and two deployments to the Western Pacific. Trained all assigned personnel in the proper operation and maintenance of four EMD 645 diesel generator plants.

• Conducted independent, open-ocean, pre-deployment and proficiency training for various aircraft, surface ships, and submarine components of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. I served as the torpedo retriever department leading engineer and Chief Engineer of TWR-823 Porpoise. Oversaw eight departmental programs and instructions for six main propulsion diesel engines, and six ships service diesel generators.

• As the auxiliary division leading Chief Petty Officer I oversaw the safe and proper operation of all ancillary equipment to include:

1. Flash distiller plants

2. Hydraulic steering systems

3. Air condition and refrigeration systems

4. Steam heaters and waste heat steam system.

While attached to CG-57 I managed a team of 17 enlisted through a variety of unit level and type commander level inspections to include all preparations for two Western Pacific deployments.

• As the recruiter in charge of Navy Recruiting Stations Baytown and Dayton my team was tasked with the recruitment of men and women who meet mental, moral, physical standards for enlistment. I supervised, trained and evaluated three recruiters and maintained custody of $15,000 in property, and four government vehicles.

• Responsible to the department leadership for the supervision of 10 personnel in the maintenance and operation of four ships service diesel generators and all auxiliary equipment. Served as the recovery assist secure and traverse technician, and Petty Officer in Charge of Auxiliary Room number three.
