I've been dreaming, thinking, and researching Antarctica for about 12 years. I applied a bit too late 2 years ago, but it's been a dream for a lot longer. I'm a hard working 38 year old, with a clean bill of health, who has traveled to 33+ countries. I've worked from the earth in farming to real estate (my current profession). I've only included my most recent work experience, but happy to elaborate upon request. I have a bachelor's degree in International Business and Spanish. I started as the youngest "in-store marketing position" at Sears at 16, I waited tables through college. I have about 6-7 years of administrative experience, before I became a licensed Realtor, I worked on the back end as a Business Support Specialist, Transaction Coordinator and Closing Coordinator. If I can find people homes here, why not make people feel comfortable finding home in Antarctica?! I think I'd be perfect for the job. I have a positive, goofy attitude that makes me a great team player who knows how to work hard, while finding the fun in life. I'm not afraid of doing it all. I'm simply wanderlust and I believe in experiencing the most you can in life, hence my desire to go to where few have gone before (relatively). I've had a few people in my life share their experience working down there and I have no doubt, it won't be all beauty. But I'm very good with that. That's how we grow. I like the challenge. Angela Burright (I've known since a young child) and her partner Cota as well as my friend Eli have all worked there and I've really appreciated their advice. I'm committed and excited. I have additional personal and professional referrals upon request. Thank you for your time considering my application.
