As a Team Lead I begin the shift with a start up meeting to let the team know the set goal for the day and let them know the importance of safety while on the floor.
When we're short handed I help the team wherever I'm needed.
I use tack software to ensure all employees efficiency and utilization numbers are consistent.
Pick and pack orders for shipping using a RF scanner
I sign all paperwork that comes in on new truck containers and input that information into the door sheet.
I also do inventory checks and send out discrepancy emails for any shortages or overages.
At the end of the day I input all the data from received and shipped items into a spreadsheet.
Verify everything is correct and send it out in an email to management.
