• I started at Nebraska Medicine (PICU), Jan 2020. I held for IV starts, CHG'd pts to get ready for surgery, obtained vitals, stocked supplies, trained to skim breast milk and assisted with dressing changes, checked glucoses, fed babies and children that needed assistance and did basic ADL's.
• From PICU, I transferred to the COVID ICU. My roles were similar to what I was doing in the PICU, but with the learning curve of adult parameters and adult specific practices.
• I did still float throughout the hospital and I have worked in Neuro ICU, COVID ICU, Trauma ICU, SICU, MICU, CVICU, Oncology ICU, along with all the Med Surg equivalent floors.
• As of January 2023, I have been an Emergency Department CNA. I do EKG's on children and adults. I do all my basic CNA skills and I take traumas. I help with chest tube supplies, and gathering anything the doctor might need to open up a person in the ER. I am also a preceptor.

• As a server at Romeos, I waited on tables, worked on customer service, bussed tables, cashed customers out, vacuumed and cleaned, served food and drinks, made drinks and took phone calls. Working as a server helped me with my people skills and how to handle intense situations when they would arise.

• As lead hostess at City Fire, I worked on customer service: greeting customers and seating them at tables and had to make sure I didn't seat too fast or that would overload the servers and kitchen, causing unhappy customers to wait for their food longer. I would take reservations over the phone and work on using the best customer service I could. Being the first face people see when they walk in, and also the first person to deal with complicated situations, I had to remain composed. Things there were not apart of my job that I did to try and be a better team player: bussed tables, vacuumed and cleaned, served food and drinks.

• As a teacher at the CDC, I worked with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. I would make plans for the "classes" every day that were age appropriate, feed babies as well as changing them and sometimes bathing them, doing arts and crafts, reading, playing, and taking the children on walks.

As a Commissary worker, I worked mainly in the warehouse, loading and unloading palettes and stocking the shelves out front. Occasionally, I would be a cashier and I would check customers out as fast and pleasantly as possible. I would also help put up displays and chop vegetables.
