I have been a hard worker since the age 13 when I started umpiring for Clinton City Recreation. Working for so long now I have developed a very strong work ethic and well known for that as well as my positive attitude. I am very goal oriented and have the strongest desire to achieve greatness in life and build a very strong career. Working my way up to the top in the company I work for is always a goal of mine to live successfully and comfortably. I thrived very well in logistics from managing accounts, to brokering freight, and to managing fleets of drivers to the point I was recruited by multiple people to help them manage whole terminals in different states. I left this career to work for a family ran solar company in North Carolina where I worked my way from being a Project Manager up to Senior Project Manager then on to be the Director of Operations for the Roofing Company side of this whole company. I also have worked a second role helping manage a sales team by distributing all the reps their leads/appointments, and recruiting more sales reps for growth within the team.
Manage a fleet of 25+ drivers and making sure they are safe, utilizing their time, and producing revenue for the company. As well as making sure drivers are held accountable to working, I am maintaining solid relationships with them and be a good source of support to keep them satisfied and prevent turnover to keep trucks seated. Safety, Utilization, and being driver support are three things I try to keep at high priority to ensure the fleet is running successfully.
Managed customer accounts, booked freight with them, built relationships, and handled any issues. I also booked freight with broker companies to get trucks out of specific areas who also needed to get to a specific area.
Was hired as an Account Manager and my responsibilities were booking loads with customers that were assigned to me, building them in the system, and then scheduling them. Was eventually moved to a Driver Manager position and managed up to 37 drivers before being offered a job at a new company for more career growth.
