I am a recent graduate of Cal State Northridge with a bachelors of arts in Film editing. Through my years of schooling I became Avid certified and have edited multiple school projects on avid including the BTS of the senior thesis film 5 STAR. My experience with Avid has been great, as it is the industry standard, and through the years of using it I understand why. Through editing several projects, Avid's wide range of options and true creative freedom has allowed me to truly put my vision into video format. I also have editing experience with various adobe creative cloud programs such as Premiere Pro, After affects, and Photoshop. I mostly used to programs to edit various YouTube videos I have worked on and are currently on my YouTube channel. I have used and studied Premiere pro for about 8 years now, starting all the way back in Highschool where I would edit small projects for my digital media class. Premiere Pro has definitely proved to stand the test of time for me, as its ease and practicality   has really helped create multiple videos in the past.

With the skills acquired through my various years of editing, I started a YouTube channel where I made several videos just messing around with editing without much purpose. As I got into school I quickly grew a passion for editing with purpose, taking into consideration each cut and purpose of every edit. I edited several school projects, most notably the behind the scenes for the thesis film Five Star, as well as becoming an editor for a social media company Viewvandi that does social media marketing for several businesses such as: Dave's Bar in Glendale, and Bon Vivant, also in Glendale. For those two social media brands I used CapCut to make edits for them with the goal of them being on Instagram and Tik Tok, which really helped with the rapid speed and need to retain attention for those videos.

I believe that with my years of editing experience I would be amongst the best candidates for an editing job because I have put in the work in and outside of school, and I have tried and tried and tried, and will continue to try until I am able to become the best editor I can be.
