My goal as a college student at the University of South Florida is to peruse an education prowess in the field of Biology. Through my pursuit, I hope to spread my experience across several opportunities to not only grow but learn in the field that I choose to be in. I have done volunteer work in the past, that being beach clean up and at centers related to biology, and I have developed an interested in the ever changing world of science.

  • Starting this job, my main role as cashier was keeping inventory of the cash register and focusing on keeping the lines organized. This required me to learn and memorize several pages of codes and keeping accurate procedure regarding the interchange with any sort of currency going in and out of the register.
  • Also as cashier, I had the responsibility of greeting consumers and resolving potential discrepancies within the store. Through this, I learned how to better interact with individuals given the situation at hand.
  • With time, my job evolved to doing several different task beyond cashier such as truck ordering, inventory sorting, and working in a cafe. Also because of my vast inclusion of different task, I began to learn supplements to better help individuals in this department.
  • My responsibilities expanded into different departments such as opening the building for an evident day of customers and securing the building at the end of the night.
  • Currently, I work in every department of the store depending on who is available and who needs assistance. That also including manager work if needed.

  • Started as food prep, that being making and creating meals, keeping the food area sanitary, avoiding cross contamination, and keeping a clear and concise mindset while keeping appropriate time management.
  • From here, I started to train new hires as the most experience and reliable person for the job at the moment, training a handful of people in both food management and cleaning services. Also cross trained in cashiering and public service.
  • During my time there, I was assigned the role of keeping inventory and stock of the products at hand. I was also given the task to plan out the schedule for the day of the things that needed to be completed.
  • With these roles, my job description evolved to more of a pseudo-managerial position that required me to assist in the communication and traffic of the work place.
