As seen with my wide variety of past jobs, I excel in a multitude of areas including memory retention, sales, and organization. However, the one skill that I take pride in is customer service. My number one priority at any job is making sure that the customer feels welcome and is able to locate everything they need. Furthermore, I make connections with my customers and, if it feels right, befriend them and make small talk.
As a server, I was required to take orders from the seniors at the assisted living home and make sure they had an exceptional time at our establishment. I was also required to bring out food from time to time and had a short role helping out at the bar.
As a team member, my job was to make sure each customer had extreme satisfaction and found everything they were looking for. Furthermore, I was required to learn about the majority of products we sold and how they work.
Checked out customers and assisted in locating items that they could not find. If business was slow, I was tasked with either stocking shelves or gathering the shopping carts in the parking lot.
