As a Maintenance Management Specialist for the Marine Corps, I was tasked to:
- Maintained accurate records of all equipment repairs and inventory
- Create Service Requests for items in need of maintenance through the GCSS-MC program
- Find and analyze discrepancies on reports pulled for items in need of calibrations, modifications, preventive maintenance, or corrective services
- Implemented preventive maintenance procedures to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency
- Performed regular inspections of commodities to identify potential discrepancies or areas for improvement
- Coordinated with officers and non-commissioned officers to correct any discrepancies
- Ensured compliance with the Marine Corps standards and policies revolving around logistics.
