Activities

Special Olympics Club Connects college students and individuals with intellectual disabilities through sport to build friendships and help lead the social justice movement of Special Olympics. 

Miracle League of Miami Dade Softball and Baseball programs provide an opportunity for children with physical and/or developmental challenges to play a sport and be a part of a team. Provided individual coaching and skill development throughout games. 

Miami Book Fair's Literacy Initiative: The Children's Trust's Books for Free Book organization that provides the opportunity for young children in need to pick up books for free, selected from bookshelves found in a variety of locations around the county. Coordinated with an organization to plan and host a book drive held at my former high school. Advocated at my high school in support of the organization by speaking to my fellow peers and posting flyers throughout campus Successfully collected a variety of books for a range of ages, that were then provided to students in need.
