My family asked me to open and run a franchise health boutique for them. As a family commitment, I accepted and developed the business, including site development, equipment acquisition, staffing and franchise compliance. Less than 30 days before opening, a competitor sued the franchisor, and they choose not to defend. My parents choose to not go forward.

• Cross-trained new employees to maximize team agility.
• Managed investment dollars to meet targeted milestones.
• Recruited, interviewed, hired and trained employees to professional healthcare standards.
• Executed an orderly liquidation of the business.

• Taught algebra, geometry and senior math including lesson planning small group mentoring/assistance.
• Added Special Education license to aid at risk students.
• Facilitated professional development workshops for the mathematics department(s).
• Mentored seniors on post graduate education/work options.
• As Chair, mentored new math facility members.

• Organized workshops and conferences that fostered collaboration between school faculty members.

• Provided coaching and mentoring to teachers, nurturing their growth as professionals and contributing to a positive school culture.
• Took on the position and responsibility of middle school principal for two semesters.
