Accomplishments

    While participating in girl scouts I have obtained my sliver award by creating a project with my team entitled, "Maddie's Corner" for Mount Carmel Baptist Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. We wanted to create a place for the children to have when there parents are picking out food for the household. First we went to the food pantry and cleaned out the area to see how much space we have to work with and what we could have in the area. Second we went to my church, Mount Carmel Baptist church and set up book and toy donation boxes around the church. After a few weeks of people donating items; we went back to the church picked the books and toys up, After picking the items up we went through all the items disinfectant them and took them to the food pantry. We started setting everything up to make it a comfortable place for kids, Each kid was able to take a book home with them as we continue to donate book to the food pantry.
