Jason Chippas

I was manager on duty for all of my shifts. I was responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as ensuring all target goals were met. I viewed every interaction with a customer as an opportunity to create a customer for life.

Started in the S&P 500(the biggest trading pit on the floor) where I worked my way up to broker. My main duties included executing trades in open outcry which involved keeping an accurate count on every trade. I was responsible for using my contacts and relationship with customers to generate business. I spent 5 years in the Nasdaq pit managing my own team which included ensuring we met or exceeded our goals. I was also tasked with out-trade resolution meaning I had to negotiate desired outcome any time there was a discrepancy between what we knew trading and what the contra party thought.

Started as a runner and worked my way up to clerk. Passed my series 7 exam which allowed me speak directly to customers in less than 1 year. My main duties included providing excellent customer service to our existing customers while using my contacts to bring in new clients.
