I learned a lot about upselling products at old navy. I also learned a lot about selling credit cards. In retail customer service is one of the most important skills you must have and I think old navy really improved that for me
At Old Navy I worked the cash register which meant that I had to handle money and scanning clothes. I also engaged in conversations with the customers and made sure they found everything they needed. While working fitting rooms I would organize clothes, put them back on shelves/ hangers. I'd also make sure customers had a good experience and that everything worked out for them. When working out on the floor I made sure to greet customers and ask if I could help them find anything. If I wasn't helping anyone I would be folding, and organizing any section that needed it.
At exotic tan I have a lot of responsibility because I work by myself. I work the cash register which entails signing up new customers, selling lotions, and different tanning packages, counting the drawer and making sure it's even, and having excellent customer service skills. Aside from the register I do a lot of deep cleaning on beds, booths, and spray tan machines. I'll also occasionally handle paperwork.
At Nikos I worked the cash register, taking orders and handing out food. I also had the job of answering the phone and taking orders. I cleaned up every night when working. Unfortunately Nikos shut down so I had to find another job for.
I've been CPR certified for a few years now because I babysit a lot so I find it important to have that skill
