- Automated Socket Pin Defect Detection Deep Learning Computer Vision model: This model was implemented to detect defects such as bent pins, foreign material, jammed pins, and missing pins in different IC test socket types. The implementation of this model resulted in a reduction of manual inspection time and maintained zero test escapes.
- Socket Component Defect Detection Deep Learning Computer Vision model: This model was implemented to detect missing components such as screws (different kinds), PCB fiducial, alignment bushing, bottom cover alignment pins, etc in IC test sockets.
- NLP model using CRAFT and EasyOCR: This model was implemented for detecting and recognizing engravings on the IC test sockets.
- Developed an image augmentation tool to augment a smaller dataset of IC test sockets.
- Apart from being a major contributor in development of model and pipeline, my role involved managing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align on project goals, and overseeing the implementation of end-to-end machine learning pipelines. This experience has equipped me with strong project management skills and the ability to drive complex machine learning initiatives from concept to deployment
