  • Responsible for the outreach and on-boarding of new participant musicians eligible for residual payments
  • Manage musician and beneficiary email and phone inquiries, answer questions related to the Fund and the work we do on behalf of musicians, facilitate updates to musician accounts and address account-related issues or questions about residual payments, all with the highest degree of professionalism, tact and grace when under pressure

  • Utilize research resources and tools available to support department activities, including but not limited to online databases, microfiche/microfilm and other industry data resources
  • Anticipate and identify seasonal workflow fluctuations, future resource needs, efficiencies and potential improvements in processes and organization within the department and provide leadership recommendations consistent with the company's overall priorities and goals
  • Facilitate data information collection for various research and mass communication projects as needed
  • Review and analyze data, identify anomalies and inconsistencies within the system, develop and recommend solutions
  • Research data available at the various musician Locals, American Federation of Musicians Executive offices, AFM Pension Office, Studios/Production Companies/Distributors offices, independent contractors and other sources
  • Research omission claims to identify musicians who may have performed on songs or original scoring sessions for qualifying film and television product using various information sources including IMDB, Discogs, TuneFind, the American Federation of Musicians member database, various Locals throughout the U.S
  • As well as direct outreach to musicians
  • Maintain current familiarity with practices and trends in the entertainment industry regarding AFM-significant supplemental markets

I have loved music my whole life and started collecting vinyl records as a kid. I have approximately 1,000 records at this point and growing! I am a drummer who played professionally throughout the '90s and continues to perform both on records and live in the los Angeles area.
