Prior to joining this role I was the Catering and Events Coordinator in which some of the duties I had were the execution of events from start to finish. Setting up and breaking down events; as well as assisting the kitchen with food preparation as needed. I was also tasked with ordering table linens and dinner napkins based on customer requests per event. Oversaw the operations of the 3 bars, ensuring that the bartenders were maintaining proper inventory as well as making sure that they were serving the proper beverage standards for drink portions.

• Ensure cash control for all employees, along with cash control for the safe and deposits of daily cash. Proper temperature control of all food items in the store, along with properly temping milks and cold products to keep under temperature danger zone. Assign tasks to individual employees to maintain cleanliness of store

• Assisting customers in finishing their shopping by scanning items and placing them into bags. Controlling cash by ensuring guests receive the proper change for each transaction. Assisting customers with finding products, and if item was not available in store, directing them on how to find the product on our website for quick delivery

• Assist the barback with carrying cases of beer from the coolers up to the bar area. Dispose of all trash from bar and take it to the dumpster. Sweep broken glass or bottles from floor area outside of the bar where patrons frequent. General cleaning at the end of the shift. Assist waitresses in clearing tables for prompt seating of another party requesting to sit.

• As a shift manager my duties were to ensure that all work was designated and fully completed by the end of my shift. I was in charge of the money in the safe, completing cash loans into the registers and also reconciling them at the end of my shift to ensure no cash shortages from employees. In the deli I was responsible for making sure all products were properly time coded per health code, brewing coffee throughout the night to ensure freshness. Setting up the store for the breakfast rush was a very important part of my job.
