Kaden Munkres

• At Peninsula High School we have our student store
• This store is ran by DECA and called the Hawk Shop
• As the manager for our student store I look over all of our orders, financials, and overall work in the Hawk Shop.

• As president of DECA at Peninsula High School I am always working to grow and expand our program
• I would like to have one of the best programs in the state by senior year
• Also as president I have various responsibilities such as looking over our activities and projects while also paying attention to our financials.

• I am a volunteer baseball coach for Gig Harbor Little League
• While volunteering I have up to 60 hours
• I enjoy benefiting my community as much as I can.

• I was a volunteer football coach for Peninsula Youth Football
• In the future I will be volunteer coaching again, for my community
• I have earned over 90 hours of volunteer hours for coaching football.

Team Captain of the football team my senior year

• Worked for 2 summers, one after my 7th grade year and the other after my 8th grade year
• Operated machinery to hoist captured fish onto boats.
• Troubleshot and repaired equipment and kept fishing vessels clean to maintain machinery in good working order.
• Leveraged nets of various sizes, fishing lines and traps to catch fish.
• Sorted and cleaned fish and stored in refrigerated or ice-filled holds to prevent spoilage.
• Conducted emergency drills and maintained lifeboats, signal flares and other survival equipment to prepare for inherent dangers.
• Examined fish to check for defects or signs of ill health and released substandard catches back to water.
