Becoming a pediatrician has been my dream for as long as I can remember. I’ve always felt a deep calling to work with children, understanding their unique needs and making a positive impact on their health and well-being. Growing up, I often volunteered at local clinics and shadowed pediatricians, which fueled my passion for medicine and reaffirmed my desire to pursue this career. As a first-generation college student, the path to medical school can seem daunting, both financially and academically. A scholarship would provide invaluable support, easing the financial burden and allowing me to focus on my studies, clinical experience, and community service. With this opportunity, I could continue working toward my goal of becoming a pediatrician, while also making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
