Maintaining compassion and empathy when interacting with individuals is a considerable component of defining a successful worker, and I feel that's a significant strength I uphold. I also thrive in collaborative and fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
When working at Camp Bow Wow, I started as a Camp Counselor but became a shift leader within nine months. Throughout this position, I maintained safety and routine care for multiple dogs in the facility. However, a massive focus of mine during my time here was creating impactful relationships with both the pets and their owners. These relationships were established through monthly promotions that were tailored to each owner. As well as through regular interactions while scheduling and checking pets in and out for routine services.
At Earth Fare, I worked as a cashier and juice bar attendant. While working at Earth Fare, I managed the flow of customers by maintaining quick, efficient, and accurate transactions and a positive atmosphere. However, I also collaborated with my team efficiently to ensure customers received the necessary answers to maintain the client-consumer relationship.
While working at I Love Juice Bar, the most critical aspect of the job was following the owner's mission statement, "We exist to delight others." To do this, I maintained the service flow to focus on safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed. At the same time, I remained knowledgeable about products to assist customers in making the best decision. At the end of each shift, I was responsible for effectively batching out sales and reporting totals.
