I am very passionate about helping the person beside me, no matter where I may be. I am a constant advocate for those battling mental health issues and/or recovery from addiction. Volunteering at the women's shelter, raising money for "Hunt's Haven of Hope", and writing a paper for a grant that was awarded in support of Community Action have been on my agenda in the last year. I feel overwhelmed with gratitude to be in any situation where I can truly lend my hand.
