• Work alongside of physicians and clinical staff to get patients schedule for necessary surgeries whether that be routine or urgent.

• Filed medical documentation and collected pre op medical clearances.

• Obtained pre authorizations leading up to surgical procedures over the phone while providing all of the proper documentation.

• Communicate with patients in person and over the phone to coordinate schedules in order to get patient on the books for surgical time.

• Scheduling surgeries based on physician and operating room availability
• Entering procedure codes and ensuring proper instrumentation for surgery
• Working directly with physicians, surgeons and anesthesia staff to coordinate the most efficient schedule.
• Answer phone calls from departments to get emergency cases schedule.

• Scheduling appointments for patients for outpatient surgery in a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Obtaining necessary patient information and verifying insurance coverage.
• Order patients’ test results and assess information from the report to determine if a patient is ready for surgery
• File, collect, and organize pre and post operational data for reference

• Schedule patients physicals
• Ensure for a smooth check in/out process all while verifying information and demographics

• Register new patients
• Schedule diagnostic imaging exams for multiple doctors within the practice.
• Assist the heart valve clinic with scheduling procedures within Albany Medical Center.

• Train athletes and/or adults of any population.
• Make workout plans for individuals so they can strive in the best way possible, while having fun.
• Assist in the scheduling of overall gym.

• Promote customer goodwill by providing high standards in customer service
• Manage customers online orders and maintain effective work schedules for department associates to meet business traffic requirements and minimize customer inconvenience.
• Supervise performance of all duties within departments under direct supervision of management.
