• Assisting residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, dining, transferring, and bathing
• Engage residents with a positive and friendly demeanor, while providing support through social interaction at scheduled and unscheduled recreational activities
• Follow HIPPA policies and procedures
• Be prepared to respond in an immediate, timely, and appropriate way to unexpected or emergency situations that may arise outside of daily assignments, including emergency response calls from residents
• Respond and report changes in the resident’s health status
• Complete daily charting requirements, communicate any maintenance problems or hazards

Provides positive intervention and active treatment and/or restorative care. Assists residents in all activities of daily living, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and dining.

Keeps clients and their beds, clothing, and living area clean and well-maintained

Provides nursing and behavior management support.

Provides 1:1 supervision/direct observation of individuals on special precautions, such as elopement risk, suicide risk, serious medical condition and risk of serious self-injurious behavior

Performs basic nursing procedures, taking/recording temperature, pulse, blood pressure, respirations, first aid, and responds to emergencies that involve the use of medical/behavioral intervention techniques

• Checking people in for an appointment and directing walk ins
• Tracking and reporting key data points
• Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary
• Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to potentially infectious agents
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and company policies
• Adheres to quality assurance procedures
• Maintain all HIPAA standards
• Performs other related duties as necessary

• Support the classroom teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for group of 14-18 students
• Lead large and small group activities
• Monitor and supervise all classroom and outdoor activities to assure a safe, healthy and inclusive environment for all children
