Ryan Pack

I worked the midnight shift as the manager at the different stores in Morgantown, WV. I was responsible for running the shift and providing a safe and effective work environment for my employees. I was a part of a small team of Flex Supervisors that helped cover shifts at whatever store needed it. The position helped teach me how to become more flexible with my work surroundings even when they would change on a daily basis. I also was able to from strong work relationships with a variety of people that challenged me to learn all about them and their strengths and weaknesses.

I worked the midnight shift as a supervisor at this Sheetz. I was a part of a management team that work together to run the store and ensure quality and excellence for our customers. I was put in charge of a shift each night and was responsible for leading my team to complete the tasks and food orders that were put in front of us. I was in school at the time so I would work my shift and then go to class. That taught me that hard work pays off and that nothing good comes easy. This position helped teach me the values of teamwork and the importance of being a leader, especially during high stress situations.

As a salesperson I was tasked with either making food or working the cash register. There would be more tasks and objectives that we would have to complete on a daily basis. I had this job when I was in high school and the start of college so it helped me see the benefit of being hardworking and knowing that I had to show up to the best of my ability each shift.
